Abstract |
Considering the widespread use of leeches in medicine, understanding the microbiota of their digestive system is important. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Aeromonas bacteria and its effect on the structure and activity of the microbiota of the digestive system of leeches. Among the positive roles of Aeromonas bacteria in the leech's digestive system, we can mention the digestion and breakdown of proteins in the blood, stimulation of the leech's immune system, helping to heal wounds and the production of antimicrobial substances, which balances the microbiota of the leech's digestive system, which is essential for the functioning of the leeches. It is Suitable for the digestive system and overall health of the leech. Also, by increasing the number of these bacteria, the balance of the leech's digestive system microbiota may be lost, which will reduce microbial diversity and disrupt the digestive system. In some cases, Aeromonas bacteria can cause inflammatory reactions in the leech's digestive system, which will cause tissue damage and disrupt the vital functions of the leech's digestive system. These characteristics indicate the importance of balance in the microbial environment of the leech's digestive system And emphasizes on the need for careful monitoring and controlling the use of leeches in medical treatments. |
