Abstract |
Spirulina is a microscopic green-blue alga that can play a role in the nutrition of ornamental fish larvae due to its rich and varied nutritional composition. This study deals with the effect of spirulina algae on the growth, health and color quality of ornamental fish larvae. Spirulina algae contains high quality protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, all of which are necessary for the growth and development of ornamental fish larvae. Studies have shown that the use of spirulina algae in the diet of ornamental aquatic larvae can help increase their growth rate and survival. Also, these algae help to strengthen the larvae's immune system, makes them more resistant to diseases and will help to improve water quality. Among the other benefits of spirulina algae, we can mention its effects on improving the coloring and beauty of larvae, which is of great importance in the ornamental fish industry. The optimal use of spirulina algae, considering the diversity of species and the special needs of each species, can lead to a significant progress in the reproduction and cultivation of ornamental fish. Therefore, the addition of this algae to the diet of ornamental fish larvae is a suggestion that can lead to increased efficiency and profitability in the ornamental fish industry. |
