Abstract
In the present study, the effect of dry extract of portulaca oleracea on some growth indices of rainbow trout was evaluated. For this purpose, from 600 rainbow trout with an average weight of 3.30 گرم 0.1 g in a completely randomized design in 5 levels including 0% (control, T0), 0.5% (T1), 1% ( T2), 1.5% (T3), and 2% (T4), dried portulaca oleracea extract per kg of food with three replications were tested in 15 300 liter plastic tanks (40 fish per tank). Sampling of fish in the treatments was performed by simple random sampling after 60 days of the experimental period. After sampling, some growth indices (weight and length, feed conversion ratio, body weight gain percentage, specific growth rate, status index (obesity coefficient), survival rate, protein deposition in the body, protein yield ratio were measured. Took.

The results of this study showed that the dry extract of portulaca oleracea at the level of 1% increased the body weight percentage and decreased the feed conversion ratio compared to other treatments (p <0.05). Survival percentage of juveniles in the treatment showed 0.5% increase compared to other treatments (p <0.05). Also, the status index or obesity coefficient in the treatment of 2% dry purslane extract showed a significant decrease compared to other treatments (p <0.05). Therefore, dry portulaca oleracea extract at 1% level is suitable for improving the growth performance of rainbow trout fry. Overall, the results of this study show that the level of 1% dry extract of portulaca oleracea in combination with food can be used to improve growth performance and improve nutritional efficiency in aquatic animals.
